At the Beach, we understand the need for community programs (sports teams, music groups, recreation centers, etc) to maintain a balanced budget. In Southern California, this can be extremely difficult with such high prices for everything from travel to facility rentals. Thankfully the University supports us through Associate Students, Inc. (ASI), however, many programs do not always have such a support system.
New for this upcoming season, the Beach will offer 50/50 ticket sharing. Bring out your local team, music group, dance club, etc. and Beach Hockey will split the total sales half and half. Furthermore, on certain nights, groups will have the opportunity to set up a table with silent auction items and raffles to rasie additonal money for their program.
